My Nars Eyeshadows

Hey guys,
Not long ago I did a post on my NARS blush collection (here) and I'd thought I'd continue the series with my NARS eyeshadow collection. I currently only own 5 eyeshadows (I've purchased another since photographing for this post - NARS 413 BLKR eyeshadow). Not unlike the blushes I own from NARS, their eyeshadows do not disappoint when it comes to quality. I have not come across a shade that I would give less than a 4/5 rating. I cannot wait to get my hands on more shades in the future so please fo leave any recommendations in the comment section!
'Strada' was the first eyeshadow I ever purchased from NARS. The colour of it is what drew me in, it's a gorgeous lavender/lilac colour but with the same gorgeous golden glitter that you get in 'Mekong'. It is similarly impressive when it comes to colour payoff and its buttery texture.
'Ashes to Ashes' is one of my all time favourite eyeshadows. I use it at least 3-4 times a week and it is my go to crease colour. The swatch below isn't quite accurate - the shadow itself is more taupe and less golden. I put off getting this colour for the longest time as I already have 'Satin Taupe' by MAC, but they are actually quite different, and I have to say, I prefer this one better. I would definitely check this shade out if you haven't already.
'Violetta' is the first and only (so far!) eyeshadow duo that I own from NARS. This duo is great for everyday. The first shade is a gorgeous matte sand colour with the most buttery texture ever! This is a great crease colour for subtly defining your eyes. The second colour is a great frosted plum that blends nicely and glides on perfectly. Both shades have great staying power and colour payoff, just like all of the other shades I own.

First we have the colour 'Mekong'. I would describe this as a deep chocolate brown with intense gold glitter. This is one of the most amazing eyeshadows I have ever come across, not only from NARS, but from every brand I have tried. You truly cannot believe the intense pigmentation of this eyeshadow until you try it our for yourself.
NARS single eyeshadows retail for £17 and contain 2.2g of product whereas the duos retail for £24 and contains 4g of product. NARS eyeshadows are available from NARS.co.uk, ASOS.com and SpaceNK.
