The YSL Lipstick
Saturday, February 22, 2014
If you're anything like me, then you have always dreamed of owning your very own YSL lipstick. Well, my friends, I finally gave into my life-long desire and took the plunge. It was so hard to choose a colour - I nearly picked a nude-pink for everyday wear, but I wanted it to be special so I went for a bright pink from their Spring 2014 collection, and boy did I choose well. The texture is incredible - light and moisturising, making it easy to apply and all the more amazing to look at. Although the product itself is gorgeous, the packaging is just something else. It feels like it's worth its weight in gold - it's sturdy and has just the right amount of weight to it to make it feel expensive. This has quickly become my 'special occasion' lipstick of choice, and I doubt it will be handing over that title anytime soon. Have you guys tried out any of the YSL lipsticks? What shade did you go for? Let me know in the comment section!
So pretty! Perfect for Spring/Summer x
ReplyDeleteYep - excited to whip it out a bit more when it gets sunnier! x
DeleteThis is such a lovely colour, and it sounds like the formula is perfect!

Yep, it's gorgeous :) x
DeleteI really want to try one! The colour you chose looks great. How much do they cost?

They are £24 - a bit pricey but great if you have some Boots points to spend! x
DeleteThe packaging of these lipsticks are just incredible! I'm dying to purchase one just because I love the packaging so much. I like the YSL Sheer Candy in the red shade but I'm not sure yet. It'll be a tough choice!

I know! Ah I nearly got that Sheer Candy one - it was my second choice! x
DeleteNice shade :) I had Rose Paris (#27...I think) but I think they've discontinued it! It was a gorgeous color though! However, I found it really drying and messy to wear :( They're luxurious but I don't know if I want to splurge on another when there are so many better formulas. I haven't tried any others though, so maybe they've changed!
