Today, my godparents came down to Bath to visit me! we only had about 4 hours together so i had to pack a lot of sightseeing into a limited amount of time.

to start things off, we went to lunch at this amazing restaurant (the road behing Jolly's if you are in the area) called the 'Hall & Wood House'. I actually forgot to take a picture of what we had but it was delicious! I had a flatbread with chicken, roasted vegetables, onions and herbs, whilst they both enjoyed a generous portion of fish and chips! as you can see in the photos below, this restaurant has a really quirky and interesting character, part of the reason why I love it!

After lunch, we had a little stroll around town before jumping on a sightseeing bus (still the best way to see any city in my opinion!)

To finish off the day, we headed to Sally Lunns, the oldest house in Bath and home to the mouth-watering Sally Lunn buns! We all got a half bun with home made chocolate butter :)

All in all it was a marvellous day. I hope you enjoyed this post!
