Hey guys,
So today is going to be a different type of blog post.
I wanted to just talk about things going on with me. Something's been getting me down lately :/
Ok, so I'm 19 next month and that will mark my 19th year of being single. JOYS. It hasn't bothered me that much in the past but in the last 6 months or so, it feels like everyone is coupling up, and i'm the odd one out. I know it sounds terribly cheesy but I just want someone.
Don't get me wrong, being single has it's definite advantages, but after 19 years of it, it's getting old. I understand that i'm not the best looking of girls, definitely not the skinniest, but does that make me undateable?? I must surely have some date-able features about me!?

You are beautiful! Dont let that get you down, as you are one of my inspirations. So what if you are not a very skinny girl, i am but i dont like it, as i am trying to put on weight. Keep your head held high xxxxx

DeleteNever let peer pressure affect you! Yes, it does get boring and you want somebody to make you feel like a million dollars and care so much about you, but at this age, guys are often immature about many things. Many of them are at a stage where they want to enjoy their youth and not be tied down for long(well the guys I know at least...), so why not transfer all of that desire into more love for yourself? :) Besides, confidence is what attracts people :).
ReplyDeleteHonestly Isobel you are lovely. Very pretty, sweet girl, of course you're not undateable! At 19, just over 6 years ago, I had just split up with my high school boyfriend of almost five years and being free to enjoy myself was just what I wanted! Being 19 and not tied down to anyone is a gift, keep hold of it as long as possible. Course it's nice to have someone to have a cuddle with or go for a drink with etc, but when the right guy comes along you'll know it. Right now your life sounds amazing, travelling back to Hong Kong, enjoying university, endless shopping days ;) I wouldn't worry about boys, in my opinion you've got it sorted. As soon as you stop worrying some super hunk will fall in to your lap, lol.
