My lips have always been tricky to look after. They get so dry that they crack, peel, and are just generally pretty painful. Now don't get me wrong, I've tried pretty much every lip balm on the market - Vaseline, Chapstick, Nivea - I've tried the lot. I find with most lip balms you have to apply them 100 times a day - and ain't nobody got time for that - I need hydration, and fast. After years of trailing, I've finally come up with two lip balms to beat the rest - the Nuxe Rêve de Miel and the Korres Lip Butter. At similar price points (£9.50 and £8 respectively), the two have a lot in common, but don't be fooled, they both have their pros and cons. I actually use the Korres one during the day because it gives the lips a gorgeous tint of colour and shine, whereas the Nuxe one is my go- to nighttime lip care as it's deeply nourishing and has more of a matte finish. If I had to pick one, it would be the Nuxe as it beats Korres when it comes to hydration, but it's not quite as practical during the day as it's pretty thick. However, you cannot deny how gorgeous the Korres ones are - and they come in different shades according to how much of a tint you want. My picks? Jasmine if you want a sheer colour or Wild Rose if you want a pop of berry. So, how do you keep your lips in tip-top shape? Let me know in the comment section!

  1. I did a post about this recently but i actually find (same as you do) that the nuxe is too thick for me to actually use, I may try it as an over night one. Really want one of the tinted Korres ones!

  2. I lovethe Nuxe balm, it's my favourite find this year so far! Such a great balm for keeping my lips flake free, and it is a heavy one for daytime use but perfect for night! Great post x
