Despite this being a particularly hyped product, I definitely took my time buying it. Why, you may ask? £20 for a tiny pot of concealer, are you kidding me? Being a student (or even just a normal human being) definitely made me question if this product could ever be worth the money I would have to spend on it. What's more, what if I fell in love? Would I then have to shell out that kind of money every few months for the rest of my life? Now that's a scary thought. Anyway, being the good little beauty blogger that I am, I eventually had to bite the bullet and part with my cash in order to deliver my 2 cents to my lovely readers - don't worry, I forgive you. So, I've given it a proper going over and I finally feel ready to provide you with the answer to the ultimate question - was it worth it?

For me, personally - no. Don't get me wrong, it's a fantastic product, but I am lucky enough not to have to many problems with my under eye area, so I don't feel like I need this. If you have really dark under eye circles, or problem with darker pigmentation, then I would 100% recommend this product, but if you don't, then I think it's just another unnecessary step. For me, my NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer does the job perfectly, so this has become somewhat moot. So I guess it all depends on you and your skincare needs. Overall, it's a lovely concealer with a lovely, smooth texture and great payoff, so if it suits your needs, then go for it. However, if you can get by with just the one concealer, I'd spend my money elsewhere.

  1. This product has been on my wishlist for so long, but I just can't justify that amount of money for a tiny pot of concealer. I've tried Benefit's Erase Paste, which is supposed to colour correct as well, but it hasn't really worked all that well for me (in fact, I haven't touched it for 3 months), so I'm a little sceptical about whether it's worth the massive splurge :(

    1. Unless you really struggle to cover undereye circles, I wouldn't recommend splurging on this. If you have a bit of pigmentation, but also want a good concealer for all over, I'd definitely recommend the NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer over this. x

    1. I do like it, but I just don't get enough use out of it to justify the cost. However, f you have problems covering undereye pigmentation, this could be for you. x

  3. Love this review, so nice to hear an honest opinion. I agree with you, I don't particularly suffer with dark circles so my basic blemish concealers work good enough for me. It's a shed load of money to spend on a concealer x

    1. Thanks, I'm glad you enjoyed. I'm with you - all I need is my Nars concealer and I'm good to go! x

  4. I love this product, and I 100% agree with you. This is heavy duty stuff. I have genetic dark circles, so I swear by this product, but if you don't, it's just unnecessary. It's pretty expensive, and it's difficult to apply without it getting cakey - if it didn't work so well at cancelling out the purple in my undereye area, I wouldn't bother with it.

  5. Came here through Coco - love your layout & pictures!

I have really, really dark circles, so these types of things are a necessity for me. But I have girlfriends that can just use a simple liquid concealer & they're fine! So it does depends on how dark or discoloured the circles are, absolutely right :)

I'm glad this works for you - it is a really good product, but not really necessary for me personally :) x

  6. Great review. I own the corrector and creamy concealer. I like both, but I have crazy under eye circles sometimes :) I really want to try the Nars concealer.
