What I've Been Loving #30
Sunday, September 7, 2014An old favourite has come back around in the rotation, and thank god as for the money it costs, it should be well loved! The finish this provides is great - it doesn't have really any coverage, but it just sets everything in place and blurs any imperfections quite nicely. This is my 'good skin day' powder and it's one that I'm glad I have in my collection.
You all know how much I love The Body Shop and their Vitamin E range, so it's no surprise that this has also become a winner in my book. When I ran out of my last day cream, I toddled along to The Body Shop to look at their selection. I usually opt for one of their potted creams, but the fact that this was in a squeezy tube compelled me - as well as the SPF in it - and it has quickly earned it's spot on my bedside table.
Louise Young LY34 Super Foundation Brush (£24):The name 'Super Foundation Brush' is definitely not an understatement - it's a title that this spectacular brush certainly deserves. As far as foundation brushes go it's pretty huge, but that makes blending your base in a super quick job - plus it's shape (long like a traditional foundation brush but dense and round like a buffing brush) - facilitates flawless blending in next to no time. Definitely my winner for this month!
That powder will be mine shortly, I can't wait to see if it's as amazing as it seems! Loved your selection, that moisturizer sounds interesting and that brush intrigues me more everyday! ;) xx

The Louise Young brush sounds seriously awesome, ViviannadoesMakeup raves about it so much! It looks like it swipes on foundation so quickly. I love the sound of the Vitamin E moisturiser too!

I've added the foundation brush to my bookmarks as mine actually broke in half this week that's how cheap it is, either that or I shouldn't have soaked the whole thing in brush cleaner?! eep xxx
ReplyDeleteThat looks like a larrrlvey brush!

The powder wasn't exactly what I was expecting at first but I love the way it leaves thing looking on my dry skin. I love the dewy look but hat the feel of this, so this helps me keep some of the glow whilst setting everything down :) x
ReplyDeleteIT IS AMAZING! Haha. I think anything from The Body Shop's Vit E line is awesome :) x
ReplyDeleteOh dear - which foundation brush did you have?! You shouldn't soak the whole brush because it can loosen the glue that holds the brush together, just submerge up to the silver part! x
ReplyDeleteIt is insane. x
ReplyDeleteIt really is! x
