Before we begin, please excuse me for my crinkled, creased bedsheets - I wanted to add a bit of colour to the background, and then I remembered that I'm a student and I can't be bothered to iron. Anyway... I got the chance to pop back to London the other weekend to get spoilt by my Mum for a few days - ah home cooking. As you can quite clearly see, on my way back to Madrid the Duty Free shop at Gatwick was just far too exciting to ignore...

The first thing I got my mitts on was a new shade of my favourite Chanel Illusion D'ombre eyeshadows. This one's called 'Initiation' and it's a gorgeous gold-laced brown that I can already tell will be a favourite - I'm actually hoping that it's going to be one of those shadows that you can just throw on with a bit of mascara and be ready for the day (a la Satin Taupe). These eyeshadows are outstanding - I already own four shades; Mirifique, Illusoire, Epatant and Riviere - and they are all super smooth, pigmented and extremely long lasting. Definitely worth checking out if you haven't already.

The next thing that caught my eye was the REN stand - I mean, who knew they sold REN in duty free? Anyway, it's been a while since I've tried a hot cloth cleanser and what better way to get back into the game is there than trying out this newly released version from REN? I have only used this a couple of times, but it's lovely and gentle yet extremely effective, and the cloth it comes with is great quality. Look out for this in a future post!

Last but not least, I got myself a box of yummy Jelly Baby jelly beans. I have always loved jelly beans, but I'm pretty fussy about which flavours I like so I never buy them. So, when I saw a pack that only contained tropical flavours, I just had to get myself one! The peach and pineapple crush ones are definitely the best! Well that's all I got in Duty Free - have any of you got a Duty Free shopping list?
