Bumble and Bumble Grooming Creme:

Now this is a very recent purchase, so I can't comment too much on it - but so far so good. As a brand, Bumble and Bumble has always overwhelmed me, and I've never known what to try, but after a bit of careful research and a quick eeny, meeny, miny, moe, I settled on their Grooming Creme. This is supposed to give you a polished look without even trying - which is right up my alley - and claims to add a bit of hold to your hair, which has been defining my curls/waves nicely. If this continues to grow on me, then I'm sure you'll hear more about it, however if it disappears from the blog, you'll know that the relationship turned sour. Fingers crossed for the first outcome!

Garnier Body Oil Beauty Nourishing Scrub:

After I heard Anna from ViviannaDoesMakeup talking about this in one of her videos, I knew it was something to try - that girl does have exquisite taste after all. As part of their new Oil Beauty line, Garnier has released this new Oil-Infused Nourishing Scrub that is supposed to exfoliate and rehydrate at the same time, leaving your skin in tip-top shape. This scrub has a nice consistency, not too harsh but definitely tough enough to eliminate all of those dry patches. The beauty of this is, unlike other exfoliators that can make your skin feel tight and dry after use, it contains oil that helps to soothe and hydrate whilst you scrub to your hearts content. As a girl with extremely dry skin, I find that it works incredibly well, and will be a winner during the summer to keep your skin in good shape for getting and maintaining that perfect tan.

Origins Modern Friction:

Being the only veteran of the group, and a product that I've used for about a year now, I cannot recommend this enough. I think that this is the best facial scrub I've come ever used - it's gritty enough to give your face a good buffin', but not so harsh as to cause tight/dry skin and redness. I have fairly sensitive skin, and have never have any problems with this either, so I reckon this would be a winner for any skin type. I have the larger tube, which I've had for about 10 months now, and I've probably only got about 1/5 of it left, so your dollar goes a long way as far as I'm concerned.

  1. I've been wanting to pick up a new facial scrub for awhile but just can't seem to settle on one enough to make the purchase. Origins Modern Fiction sounds lovely though!

  4. I love the sound of the B&B Grooming creme! I like leaving my hair quite natural which is a bit wavey, but it goes so frizzy the minute I leave the house so this sounds like it would be perfect! xo

  5. I totally get the overwhelming with B&B part! Thats one reason I have not been able to try anything from them barring a deluxe sample of the thickening spray.
