The Body Shop Camomile Sumptuous Cleansing Butter (£12):
I bought this a while back - and although I was really excited about it - I never got around to giving it a proper test due to the million other cleansers I have in my possession (hello spending ban!) I love this - there isn't really much else to say. It's the silkiest, most luxurious cleanser I've ever used and it will be going on my repurchase list as soon as it's finished up. It's a lazy girls' dream - just grab a bit, rub it all over your face, rinse - et voila, you're good to go. I don't even feel like I need to double cleanse with this, it's just that good. All I do is get a cotton pad of Bioderma and quickly swipe it over my face to make sure nothing is left, and there usually isn't, apart from the odd pesky bit of mascara. One would think that with this being so effective, it might be drying, but no! It's really moisturising, insanely so. Can you tell that I like this...?

I've had this for a while and have always loved it, but with my short attention span, it began to gather dust at the back of my draw. My skin has been looking a bit lacklustre lately, so I've been turning to this once a week to help brighten things up a bit. It also works well with my dry skin as it's a chemical exfoliator - although I have to apply a good moisturiser afterwards as it can dry things out a touch. A bit pricey - but there doesn't seem to be a worthy drugstore rival out there yet, so I'll be sticking to this for the mean time. To be fair, you don't go through it very quickly, so the £30 price tag isn't too painful.

Don't worry, my beloved Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder and I haven't fallen out, but sometimes my face fancies a bit of a shakeup, and that's where this powder comes in. I wrote a post up on this a few months back, saying that it's my preferred powder for when I want a bit of extra coverage and a more velvety finish. Don't get me wrong - I love a bit of a glow - but my skin is being a right pain at the moment so this has become part of my everyday routine.

  1. I absolutely love the Body Shop Cleansing Butter too! I was a little worried it'd be a bit heavy for my blemish prone skin but it's not, it's so lovely!

  2. I didnt see much of a change in the skin after that REN mask.. its still eating dust in some cupboard here.. I guess ill give it another go! Does the Body Shop balm leave a oily residue? I am more of "sqeauky clean feeling" person.. does it deliver that?

  3. I tried out the Maybelline Fit Me powder awhile back because I love the concealer so much! It gives great coverage but I don't think it's too great for oily skin types - its staying power isn't as long as others I've tried!

  4. The REN mask has been on my wishlist for so long. It's just so pricey that it's hard to justify another mask purchase. I imagine this will make it into my collection once I use up some of my current masks. xx

  7. No, the body shop is more like a cleansing balm, so a completely different texture but you get the same results from it as you would do with the Liz Earle x

  8. I find that it took me a few uses to notice any difference - and it isn't always obvious but my skin seems to be a bit more consistent if I use it once in a while. The Body Shop cleanser doesn't leave any oiliness - it's not quite squeaky clean either but it's much closer to that end of the scale xx

  10. I know - I had a SpaceNK voucher when I bought it so it took the edge off a bit. Haha I'm sure it will! I'd be interested to see what you think about it :) x
