Aveda Foot Relief (£19):
Over the last few weeks I've had more visitors than my whole YA combined (I'm not complaining!) but that means that I've been playing the role of tour guide extraordinaire, strolling around the madrileñian streets for hours on end. Although it was fabulous exercise, my poor tootsies have paid the ultimate price. This time about 2 weeks ago, I could hardly walk - I had three or four cracks on each heel (if you've ever had one, then you'll know how excruciating they are!) and this magnificent foot cream had helped me out so much. Within a few days of applying this before bed after a good foot scrub, I could definitely see a huge improvement. Two weeks later, my feet are almost back to brand new, and the Aveda Foot Relief is the main reason for that - best foot cream ever!

MUFE Aqua Matic in ME-50 (23€/£18.50ish):
So you guys know that MUFE Aqua Cream that I so adore - well Make Up For Ever have just brought out their Aqua Matic Shadow Pencils to add to their incredible waterproof line. Much like their potted counterparts, these last incredibly well on the lid, and due to their pencil form, they are incredibly easy to use, whether at home or on the go. I picked up the shade ME-50 which is described as a 'metallic golden taupe', which I think is a perfect description. This looks lovely on the lower lash line paired with a golden/bronze eye - perfect for summer!

My feet aren't the only bits that have been needing special attention recently - my hands have been suffering too. Coming to the end of the academic year, my poor hands have had a rough time over the last 9 months or so. Washing up, cleaning and hand-washing clothes (whilst I was in Russia) have taken their toll, and my hands are excited to go home for summer to be treated to dishwashers and washing machines! A current favourite for keeping my mitts in tip-top shape has been the Rituals Miracle Balm, a super thick and nourishing hand balm that sinks in nicely and keeps my hands silky smooth. The appearance of the balm is a little like Vaseline, but rest assured that it isn't as sticky or gloopy, and sinks in within a matter of minutes. However, it does take a bit longer than conventional hand cream, so I save this for night time when I'm about to visit the land of nod. If you've ever tried the Neutrogena Norwegian Formula Concentrated Hand Cream then you'll be fairly familiar with the texture of this - but I think the Rituals version is ever-so-slightly more nourishing (plus it smells better!)

  2. The MUFE Aqua Matic Shadow Pencil looks lovely! I haven't tried them before but I will have to. I remember swatching it on the back of my hand once and it was definitely a struggle to remove which is always a good sign for me and my oily lids. xx
