If you're new to my blog, then you might not know that I did the whole 'beauty box' thing for a while, but with dropping standards and piles of unused samples lying around, I decided to call it quits in January. So - you may ask - how and why have I got my hands on Birchbox's June box?

Well, despite no longer receiving the monthly beauty box, their newsletters still seem to sneak into my inbox, and Junes offerings seemed too good to resist. The original teasers showed the Caudalie Divine Oil, an OPI polish, a tube of the Embryolisse Lait-Crème Concentrate, the Beauty Blender and the Shea Butter hair mask. I'm always up for a hair mask, love OPI and really wanted to try the offerings from Caudalie, Embryolisse and the cult favourite; the Beauty Blender. Just my luck, I missed out on the Divine Oil and the Embryolisse, but I'm still extremely excited about the beauty blender and the cute little OPI polish. Instead of what I expected, I actually received the Caudalie Vinoperfect SPF15 Day Perfecting Fluid, which looks pretty nice, and the Naobay Body Radiance Lotion, which seems alright as well. So, not exactly what I wanted, but not half bad either. This is definitely the best beauty box offering I've seen, but the teasers for next months box haven't been convincing or tempting enough for me to continue my subscription. So, it's just the one box for me, but it was a good'un. Unfortunately they don't seem to be selling June's box anymore, but I still wanted to share it with you, and see what you guys think of it. So, are any of you still subscribed to any beauty boxes? Have they managed to keep impressing you, or have you got sick of constant disappointments? Let me know in the comment section below!

  1. This was definitely one of my favourite boxes yet. I mean... A beauty blender! :D I'm quite jealous of your Caudalie product, though!

  3. It really does, but the boxes are so up and down, so I think it's better to see the first reviews for the month, and then buy it if you like the look of it x
