Autumn/Winter Prep: Introduction
Monday, September 8, 2014Ah Autumn, perhaps my favourite time of year - leaves are falling, winds are cooling and it starts to become (slightly) more acceptable to sit in bed all day wearing your dressing gown and watching a GoT marathon with a hot chocolate in hand. I've always preferred the winter months - the fashion, the food and the promise of snow makes my heart flutter with pure joy. I reckon it's because I missed out on so many colder winters when I was growing up in Hong Kong, so every time this time of year rolls around I start to get extremely excited.
In dedication to my favourite season(s), I've decided to create a mini series to help you get ready in every way for the chilly winds that are heading our way. Over the next few weeks I will be discussing not only what changes to make to your makeup and skincare routines to keep you feeling seasonal, but also how to prepare yourself mentally and change up your lifestyle to prevent any winter-day blues. The first post, A/W Prep: Skincare, will be up tomorrow - so be sure to check that out - and the other posts will follow in the weeks to come. I hope you enjoy my first real 'mini series', and be sure to comment and share any of your tips for surviving the winter months!
I can't wait to see it as I am intrigued by skincare more than make-up as I am useless; wish I could keep up with series' myself I always get bored writing them halfway through- terrible xxx
ReplyDeleteYay for the mini series! I'm sure to read any blog post that focuses on Autumn - I couldn't be more excited for the cooler weather. x
