Saying that I'm busy would be the understatement of the century. I'm two weeks into my fourth and final year of university, and man have they dropped us in at the deep end - more like the Mariana Trench. The levels of stress have reached a maximum high, tearing up has become part of my everyday routine, and the pressure to do well is hitting everybody pretty hard. With our language version of a 'dissertation' (3,000 words in RUSSIAN - I can barely hold a conversation) due in last Friday and having already had a Spanish oral that is worth 10% of my Spanish grade this year on Monday, you could say that it's all getting a bit much. Luckily, I'm really happy with where my level of Spanish is at, making even history and culture modules in the language easier than they've ever been, but my Russian is a whole different story. For some reason the Russian department at my uni have decided that we should all be pretty much fluent by now (despite starting to learn it only 3 years ago - I've been learning Spanish for 8/9 years) so we are somehow expected to translate legal documents etc. when we aren't even doing that kind of thing for Spanish. Long story short - I've barely had a second to myself, and unfortunately the only thing I can afford to slack on a bit is this lovely blog of mine - because no matter how much I love it and enjoy creating content for it, I have to do everything in my power to complete this degree and get as high a grade as I can for myself. So as much as it pains me to say, my 'every-other-day' schedule will probably fall by the wayside for a bit, at least until everything calms down. I'll get posts up whenever I can, but at the same time I don't want to post a load of crap, so I'd rather post better content less frequently. I hope you all choose to stick by me whilst I try to balance my degree, sleep and blogging, but if you don't then I totally understand.

Lots of love,
Isobel x

P.S. I say I hardly get a free second, but I'm actually going to be in Ibiza this weekend for my cousin's wedding (although with the amount of translating and reading I've got to do - I think I'd rather not go!) so I don't think I'll have any post up until Monday/Tuesday. I'm going to try to take a lot of pictures so that I can write up an nice little post about my trip when I'm back on British soil.

P.P.S Also, if you've sent me and email in the last few months and haven't got a reply - I promise I've read it but it's still sitting somewhere on my 'To-do list'. I will get back to you ASAP
