Glossybox November 2012: Stocking Fillers!
Monday, November 19, 2012
Hey guys,
So FINALLY after 6 days of waiting (get it together glossybox!!) my November glossybox has arrived! This month is full of lovely little stocking fillers fit for Christmas! On a side note, OMG CHRISTMAS IS REALLY SOOOON! Ok that's my little spaz moment over. Luckily, this box was pretty worth the wait - I would have been really annoyed if the box was full of rubbish. Anyway, let's have a quick peek shall we!
The contents of my glossybox this month :)
I've tried another Ayuuri product before in a previous glossybox. I'm a bit cautious about trying out a new face cream but it is a great size and smells lush so I will give it a go!
Now this is something I am really excited to try. I have never tried this type of exfoliator and dermalogica is a brand that I really trust. Definitely going to give this a go today - exciting!
Well doesn't this look luscious and creamy? This will be just the ticket for horrible winter skin :)
Originally I was rather disappointed when I opened my box to find the top coat form Nails Inc. waiting for me when there were 2 colours on offer. Then I thought to myself, if I really wanted the colours, I would have already bought them! The Nails Inc. topcoat is something that I never considered buying as I didn't want to spend £11 on a top coat when I already love my seche vite top coat. Now I get to try this - yay!
Yum :) This is actually a decent sized perfume sample for once!
So overall I am fairly impressed (apart from the delivery time!) I am excited to try out all of the products, especially the exfoliator and the body butter. This has definitely been one of the better boxes for a long time so let's hope their trend will continue for next month!

Hey guys,
OMG I AM SO EXCITED. Today my Mini Mani Month from Ciaté finally came in the mail! I was going to buy this from Selfridges directly, but by the time I had enough money in my account, they were all sold out :( Anyway, after watching a video by BeautyFix101 on YouTube, I decided to take a look on Ebay and found myself one of these babies!
If you haven't heard of the Ciaté Mini Mani Month, it's basically an advent calendar filled with mini Ciaté nail polishes. Ciaté is one of my all time favourite nail polish brands so I could definitely not pass this up! As soon as December starts, I will be doing a quick post everyday to show you what polish you get in every square. I am SO excited for December!!!

As I said, they are completely sold out on Selfridges.com and in stores. From Selfridges they cost £38, but as I had to buy mine on Ebay, I had to pay around £50 (including p&p). I've just come across Ciaté's website, and they still seem to have them in stock (wish I had seen this before spending £50!!!)
Look out from the 1st of December for my daily unboxing posts :)

autumn photography.

Hey guys,
`Today I wanted to do a different kind of post to what I usually do. If you're anything like me, then there are times when you become so stressed out to function normally and need to take a bit of time to relax. No matter who you are - a student like me, a working girl or a parent, you always need a bit of time to yourself to recharge. So, today I'm going to share some of my favourite ways to let loose.
The first is pretty obvious - taking a nice, long bath. Before moving into my new flat I didn't have a bath available to use. Until I actually ran a nice bath and hopped in, I had forgotten how much I love taking baths and how relaxing they are. I know it can seem like a lot of effort to run a bath, but trust me, you won't regret it for a second.
The next thing really goes hand in hand with a nice warm bath. A bath on its own, as nice as it is, is not half as much fun as a bubbly, scented bath. Enter Lush (or any other fun bath bits). I find myself looking forward to having a LUSH bath all day - they leave you feeling and smelling great!
I know that not everyone had the time for (or the access to) a bath. Something else I have around the house are these scent diffusers. They make any room smell great whenever you enter it, the are fairly inexpensive plus they look pretty! You can get them with many different scents. I like to have fresh smelling ones in the living room but more soothing scents such as Lavender in my bedroom and bathroom.
Next is a guilty little pleasure that most of us indulge in at least once a day - a lovely cup of tea. However, I'm not the typical 'English tea' kind of girl, oh no. After a long day I like nothing more than coming home and indulging in on of Whittard's gorgeous flavoured teas - my current favourite being 'Peach Melba'. Even if you are a regular tea fan, it's always nice to have a special, yummy tea stored away for long winter day treats :)
Anyway, I hope you guys enjoyed my little tricks to letting loose. Hopefully a lot of them will come in handy for the cold winter days ahead, but they are honestly useful all year round.
Until next time,
