Cadbury Hot Chocolate / Anatomicals Cruzin' For a Snoozin' Sleep Balm / Boux Avenue PJs and Slippers / Weleda Skin Food / Origins Drink Up Intensive Mask

Although I'm sure that most of you are still lapping up the last slithers of summer, here in Russia it's getting rather nippy already. Yesterday, to our surprise, it actually decided to snow! Snow in September? I know - how crazy! When in Rome eh...? Luckily today it's a slightly balmier 6 degrees! As I have a bit of a head start on the cold weather, I thought I'd put together some of my favourite things that have been keeping me happy and in tip top shape.

Keep warm! Something left over from the Soviet era here is that the heating is still state run, which means that despite the snow storm yesterday, the heating is still not on (only a few days left now though!) Therefore, I'm sitting here under my duvet with my favourite new pjs and slippers on from Boux Avenue - but hey, I'm not complaining! Also, nothing compares to a piping hot cup of hot chocolate to fight off the winter chill.

Keep hydrated! I personally love the colder months, but my least favourite thing about autumn and winter is the dryness it causes. I already have super dry skin, so the last thing I need is the ice cold wind sucking the life out of me. Unfortunately, we all need to deal with a bit of dryness once in a while, but the trick is to stay ahead of the game and find those thirst-quenching products to keep any flakiness at bay. Some of my favourite moisture-boosting products include the Origins Drink Up Intensive Mask, which gives you an overnight injection of moisture, and the Weleda Skin Food, which happens to be one of those super multitasking creams that can banish any signs of dryness from a mile off.

Get enough sleep! Getting your 8 hours worth is important all year round, but can be even more important once the temperature starts to drop. We all know that everyone is more prone to catching colds or the flu at this time of the year (I'm looking at you freshers flu...) so getting enough sleep is essential to keeping you healthy and fit. Sleep balms/mists like the Anatomicals Cruzin' For a Snoozin' Sleep Balm can help you to get enough zzz as their relaxing scents will send you right off to dream land. If you really want to fight away those nasty bugs, make sure to eat well and drink enough water too!
