Spring has somewhat sprung here in gorgeous EspaƱa, making way for a slight shift in my makeup regime. I've been really enjoying the Dr Jart + Water Fuse BB Cream as it's really lightweight, yet has a nice blurring effect on the skin that makes your skin looks flawless but natural. Unlike most other BB creams, this blends into my pale skin nicely, whereas usually I have problems with even sheer formulas giving me an orange tint.

Some may say that I'm jumping the gun, but I've got into gold eyeliner a tad early this year. It complements my blue eyes and gives me that 'summertime' feeling (10 points if you get the reference!) Gold liner on the lower lash line paired with dark brown liner on the upper lash line = a perfect pop of colour without going too wild. My personal favourite eyeliner is the Urban Decay 24/7 Eyeliner in Baked - a bronze-y gold with a touch of shimmer and the lasting power of a permanent marker. A big winner in my books, and a favourite that will stick around until Autumn is upon us once again.

Like I said, the weather has started to improve and warm up a bit, however Madrid is still incredibly dry so my skin is still as thirsty as it was during the depths of winter. To give my face that moisture boost it needs, I've been turning to the lovely Body Shop Vitamin E Overnight Serum-in-Oil - the perfect bedtime treat. It is great at keeping the flakiness at bay, and has been keeping my skin blemish free (hence the love of my BB cream this week!)

Finally, although the smell hasn't entirely won me over, I can't deny that the Balance Me Super Moisturising Hand Cream is hard to beat when it comes to keeping my hands baby soft. Don't get me wrong - it doesn't smell bad, but it just isn't one of my favourites - I prefer fruitier scents whereas this has more of a herbal/lavender scent. It is however probably one of the best hand creams that I have ever used, and that is not something I would say lightly. It's thick, rich, fast-absorbing and extremely moisturising - and hey, what more could you ask for in a hand cream?

  2. The Dr. Jart + Water Fuse BB Cream is definitely a product I've been hoping to try for a while now. It's quite pricey which is probably why I've been putting off the purchase but it's definitely something I hope to try soon. xx

    1. It is really nice - more like a true, original asian BB cream than the more westernised tinted moisturiser-like 'BB creams' that you get in the UK x
