I am in love with this new release from Vaseline! I also have the aloe vera flavour (?), which I also love, but I find this feels more... summery? Once applied, it gives you a lovely glow (which you don't really get with the aloe one) which makes your skin look amazing in the sun. I have a full review of this coming up soon, so I won't say too much, but both of them are winners for me!
This product has been in my Cult Beauty basket for about 2 months, yet I never clicked the 'buy' button. Then, the other week, I was walking around Sasa (drugstore in Hong Kong) and I saw this on sale - bargain! I actually only ended up paying about a tenner for it instead of the usual £25! This product is great to use in a place like Hong Kong where the pollution is high, as mud and clay masks provide the deepest cleanse. I have only used this a couple of times, but so far I am really enjoying it!
I used to use this more when I was younger, but then my teenage skin really blew up and it wasn't really providing me the coverage that I needed. Luckily, my skin is fairly well behaved nowadays *knock wood*, so this is working a treat for me. I don't know what prompted me to buy it again, but I decided to pick it up in Duty Free in Heathrow, and boy am I glad I did. I would probably describe the coverage as medium, plus the texture is so unbelievably smooth and it blends like a dream. On top of that, it is very moisturising so none of those pesky dry spots will stand out!
I have always been curious about this product, and as they don't sell it readily in the UK, I decided to wait until I was back to HK to pick it up. I am going to do a separate review so I won't say too much, but this product is an absolute saviour in humid weather! The staying power is just on another level. This gets a big thumbs up from me!

Marc by Marc Jacobs Natural Selection Trifold in Black - £150 (aprox. when converted)
Believe it or not, I have always been one to be cautious and somewhat indecisive before splurging. I have been using a River Island wallet for the past 4 years or so, and although it has served me well, I knew that it was time to take the plunge and invest in wallet that could last me for a good long while. I've been itching to get myself a nice wallet for the last year or so, but have never wanted to part with my money. Being a student, finances can sometimes be limited, so I wanted to make sure that I wouldn't buy a wallet unless it felt right for me. I've been looking around for about a year now, searching stores like Tory Birch and Kate Spade for a wallet that would catch my eye and hopefully not cost an arm and a leg. At long last, the other day I moseyed into Marc by Marc Jacobs for a little look and stubbled across this little beauty.
I have always been torn between whether to go with a funky, bright coloured wallet, or stick to a classic colour like black. I think that is why this whole process has taken so long actually! In the end, I went with my instincts and chose a classic black and gold design from Marc by Marc Jacobs (although this baby was in second place!) I think what swayed it for me was the actual design of the wallet. I've had an standard zipped wallet with 3 compartments in for years, and I wanted to shake it up. This wallet has a trifold design, and comes with all the necessary compartments. What really made it for me is the card slots as you open the wallet, and then another section of slots once you fold the entire thing out. I like being able to organise my cards, and this will enable me to keep my most used/important cards in the front and keep store cards and such more tucked inside as they are not needed as often.
Well now that I've waffled on for far longer than I should have, I have a question for you guys. Do you prefer to go funky and bright when buying a wallet or stick to traditional, classic colours? Let me know in the comment section below!
Givenchy Electric Rose

Let me just start off by saying that I love anything rose, and Givenchy's Electric Rose is certainly no exception. At first, this scent reminded me of Paul Smith's Rose (one of my favourite all-time scents), but after trying it out for longer, I discovered that Electric Rose has a twist to it - it's sexy, yet floral and feminine at the same time. The multiple, contrasting tones within the scent allow it to go beyond a typical rose scent to a perfume that delights you with it's multifaceted personality. It also has a fairly decent wear time. I find most perfumes seem to disappear within an hour on me, but with Electric Rose, I could still smell a hint of it at the end of the day (however faint it might've been).
The packaging of this fragrance is very sleek and appealing. I like the use of silver and the ombré of the white. The only complaint I have about the packaging is the top and lid - they just feel a bit cheap, and that they could break at any minute.
Overall I am a huge fan of this scent and would definitely encourage anyone that enjoys a floral scent to go and check it out.
Glossybox: July 2013 - Seaside Splash!

Another month, another box. This month Glossybox has gone with a bright beach-themed box, which I am loving by the way! The turquoise and orange go perfectly together and make for one jazzy box ;)
So, what lovely treats am I in store for this month? Let's take a peek...
In the past when I've tried nail wraps, I've hated them (see here!) However, I am willing to give them another go, not only because they look pretty snazzy, but also because they're from one of my favourite nail brands, Essie. I'll let ou know how they go, but frankly, I'm not optimistic.
What's summer without tousled, wind-blown beach waves? Enter Alterna's Boho Waves Tousled Texture Mist! I am already blessed with quite wavy, voluminous hair so I'm interested to see how this works for me.
This product doesn't exactly thrill me but it is always useful to have suncream on you, and this is a perfect pocket-sized sample. I've heard good things about this brand, so I plan to keep it in my bag whilst in HK and give it a go.
These face mists are always so useful for summer, and since I'm going to Hong Kong on Monday, this is definitely going to get used. They are so cooling and refreshing, and this one in particular smells divine, like lavender and aloe vera. These are also generally good for your skin, so it's refreshing and beneficial in one. I'm also happy that this is a good size as I can predict that it's going to used a lot.
I am a huge fan of these lip products. I actually have one of these shades, but believe it or not, it's the blue shade! Luckily I left it back at uni so I'm not carrying duplicates! The blue may appear strange, but it's a great colour for mixing with both Sleek Pout Paints and OCC Lip Tars. The 'Milkshake' coral shade also looks really pretty and perfect for summer.
