It's hardly a secret, but I've been involved in long term love affair with NARS. It all started about 5
years ago, when I finally saved enough money to buy the long sought-after Laguna Bronzer. Since
then, I have never turned back and my love for the brand and their ever-famous products has
continued to grow. Before long, cult favourites from the brand like Orgasm Blush and Albatross
Highlighting Powder became mine, and I started the long quest of trying out as many NARS
products as possible. To this day, I have never tried a blush or eyeshadow that I haven't loved, and
quite recently I took the plunge and delved into the world of NARS base products. I am now the
proud owner of my very own bottle of NARS Sheer Glow Foundation in the colour Gobi, and
probably one of the best concealers I have tried - the NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer in
Chantilly.
I recently decided that it was time to express the depth of my love to the world, and compose a
post to show off some of my favourite NARS products of the moment. So, as I mentioned above,
I've recently acquainted to lovely face products to help make up my base - NARS Sheer Glow
Foundation and NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer. I then focused on my cheeks, adding Angelika
Blush (a gorgeous bubblegum pink with a hint of glitter) and a touch of Albatross Highlighting
Powder (a shimmering white with a gold undertone) to make my skin glow. As you can see, these
both came from Blush duos (although both are available separately), which I think are a great way to try out more than one product (as you get two for just over the price of one). Next on to eyes -
I started off by applying the Smudge Proof Eyeshadow Base before diving into my Ride Up To The
Moon Palette. I chose to use a shimmering gold all over the lid (Argentina), a bronze over the centre of my lid (Isolde), and then a terracotta brown in the crease (Fez), to create a subtle neutral smokey eye. Unfortunately, I
haven't had the chance to try out any NARS eyeliner or mascaras, so I finished off my eyes with a
Rimmel eyeliner and a Benefit Mascara. Again, I haven't yet got my hands on one of the gorgeous
NARS lip products, so I substituted it with a gorgeous gloss stain from L'Oreal.
And that's it, the completed 'NARS Face'. Let me know what you guys think and if you have any NARS product suggestions - please do let me know!
