Dainty Little Things
Tuesday, June 3, 2014So, a week or so ago I turned the grand old age of twenty one, and along with that came some stunning little surprises. I have never been a huge jewellery wearer - I tend to just stick to my cartilage piercings and wearing my watch - simply because I often forget to put anything else on. In the past, when I have got around to wearing necklaces, they've always been chunky, statement necklaces from the likes of Topshop, Zara and H&M, and I've never really tried any dainty little necklaces until now... Today I'm showing off two of my favourite editions - a beautiful rose gold Hamsa Hand necklace from Marketplace New York gifted to me from once of my amazing best friends, and a gorgeous silver and rose gold number from Armani Exchange, sent to me from my wonderful godmother.
These dainty pieces really help to jazz up an outfit, whether adding a bit of interest to a plain outfit during the day, or adding a bit or sparkle and shine to an evening look. I've also never had any rose-gold jewellery before, but it looks really nice against my (somewhat) tanned skin at the moment. Now, I know what you're thinking - flowers as props? Really? I know it's been done to death, but the same lovely lady that gave me the Hamsa Hand necklace also brought along this gorgeous bunch of flowers that I just had to include - I just love the colours!
Are you a fan of dainty jewellery, or are you more of a statement girl?
